Slide the bracket along the mounting bar until it reaches the roof rack.  By tilting the Skydome up to make room, you can slide it past the roof rack, and position the back bracket just on the other side of the roof rack.

It is best to position the other three back brackets at this point, while the Skydome can still be raised from the roof rack so as to allow the brackets past.
